I've been in the industry for over 15 years and behind the stick for about 10. I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but mostly spent my bartending years in West Palm Beach & Orlando, Florida. I decided to start Bartist back in 2017 in Central Florida. It started as a blog that evolved into an educational resource, that eventually evolved into themed pop up events and consulting for businesses. My fiancé Courtney Dam joined me on this endeavor back in 2018 and has been an amazing business partner filled with so many ideas, creative cocktails, and a wealth of knowledge.
Don't Get Wasted! evolved from Bartist into a low waste bar program that promotes responsible drinking, as well as responsible drink making. We feature many sustainable recipes in our Recipes section which are easy to replicate and delicious. Our educational side is called The Liquor Cabinet, where we explore articles about the history, origin, and evolution of all things cocktail related. We hope to inform, involve and inspire those around us. Through these educational articles, low waste recipes, local events and themed pop ups we hope to inspire you to continue your journey in the hospitality industry.
